In early 2008, Wealdstone FC issued a press release stating that a number of WFC Directors and an ex Director had acquired a majority shareholding in Ruislip Manor Sports and Social Club (RMSSC), the sports club that owns the lease to the adjacent football ground that was being used by Ruislip Manor and Wealdstone’s Youth Team. Due to serious financial problems Ruislip Manor FC folded as a football club leaving the stadium empty.With Wealdstone’s ground share agreement at Northwood coming to a close and no finish date in site for the club’s long term Prince Edward Playing Field development. It was decided that Wealdstone FC should move into the vacant stadium at Grosvenor Vale.

Much time, money and effort were invested into the Facilities at Grosvenor Vale. A major make-over was conducted improving facilities drastically. which are  now more than capable of hosting Ryman Premier League football and Wealdstone FC are proud to call The Vale home !
