CALLUM MCFARLANE VOTED SUPPORTERS PLAYER OF THE MONTH FOR SEPTEMBER

After three goals in his first month with the Stones, Callum McFarlane has been voted supporters player of the month for September!

Having joined the Stones on loan from Fulham on Premier League deadline day, the striker has since featured in every game for Matt Taylor. McFarlane started every game during September, other than the first fixture of the month, at Grosvenor Vale against York City, where he came off the bench to make his home debut.

His first start came in the defeat away at Woking, where he was inches away from opening his Stones account, had it not been for a wonder-save from Will Jaaskelainen. But it wouldn't be long after for McFarlane to find the back of the net, when he pulled a goal back just before half-time, away to Forest Green Rovers to make it 2-1. He topped off a man-of-the-match performance at the New Lawn Stadium with a 90th minute equaliser against the Green with a well-struck volley.

The striker's next goal came in the form of another 90th minute goal, this time putting the Stones ahead at home against Southend United, when he bravely leaped up to head the ball over Colin Andeng-Ndi in the 1-1 draw at the Vale. He topped off the month with a lively performance in the 2-2 draw away at Halifax Town.
