Dyer and Charles selected for international duty

Alex Dyer and Ashley Charles have been called up to the Montserrat and Grenada national teams respectively as the pair look set to earn more caps for their national teams.

With both midfielders having fantastic respective seasons, a call up to their national set-ups is more than deserved for the pair.

Dyer, now on 21 caps, became the joint record appearance holder for his country in 2021 when he earnt his 17th international cap against Grenada.

The Emerald Boys’ will come up against Haiti on Saturday 25th March and Guyana on Wednesday 29th March in the CONCACAF Nations League looking to add to the three points they’ve tallied up so far.

Charles’ Grenada face a tricky test against the US Men’s National Team at the Kirani James Stadium on Saturday 25th March, containing Premier League stars Christian Pulisic and Weston McKennie, just to name a few.

Our number four will be hoping to add cap number four to his three appearances that he's already clocked up for the Spice Boys.

The pair join keeper Sam Howes, who we'd already announced as being called up for the England 'C' squad to face Wales 'C' in Altrincham on Tuesday 21st March.
