FA Trophy tie switched to Silver Jubilee Park
Tuesday night's FA Trophy tie against Hendon will now be switched to Silver Jubilee Park following a failed pitch inspection at Grosvenor Vale on Monday afternoon.
Heavy rain on Sunday has meant areas of the playing surface are waterlogged and won't clear by Tuesday night's game. We will be working closely with Hendon over the next 24 hours now to prepare for the tie at their home ground in Kingsbury, located just eight miles from The Vale.
The game will remain a 7:45pm kick off and following an agreement from both clubs, Wealdstone will still in effect remain the 'home' side to avoid a further postponement of the fixture for a third time before then switching venue as per competition rules.
This means the Stones will still have control over ticket sales and matchday costs, with tickets remaining available on our portal by clicking HERE. Tickets already purchased remain valid.
We apologise to both sets of supporters for any inconvenience the switch may have caused but we still hope to see as many Stones fans as possible at this local derby, with a spot against Solihull Moors in the Quarter Finals up for grabs.
