FORMER READING STRIKER JAHMARI CLARKE SIGNS

Wealdstone FC is thrilled to announce the signing of 20 year old former Reading FC striker Jahmari Clarke on a short-term deal.

Jahmari Clarke began his footballing career in the youth setup at Reading FC, where he quickly rose through the ranks. He showcased his talent early on in the U18 Premier League, where he made 23 appearances and scored 13 goals, underlining his potential. His performances earned him a place in Reading's Premier League 2 squad, where he made 25 appearances and added 8 goals to his tally.

Clarke made his first-team debut for Reading in the EFL Championship in August 2021, in a match against Preston North End. On November 6, 2021, Clarke announced himself on the big stage with a memorable brace in Reading's 2-1 victory over Birmingham City, his first senior goals for the club. Over his time with Reading's first team, Clarke made 12 appearances in the Championship.

In addition to his Championship experience, Clarke also featured in the EFL Cup, making 2 appearances and gaining valuable match experience against higher-level opposition.
