Friday pitch inspection for Chelmsford game

Saturday's FA Trophy 3rd Round tie away to Chelmsford City will undergo a Friday afternoon pitch inspection at Chelmsford's Melbourne Stadium.

The pitch currently has a blanket of snow over it from Monday's snowfall and with the forecast predicting temperatures below freezing for the remainder of the week, the FA have granted officials to conduct a pitch inspection a day early.

If the tie is postponed both clubs have agreed to play the rearranged fixture on Wednesday 21st December with a 7:45PM Kick Off, this is to allow the pitch enough time to thaw out.
