Wealdstone Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Fumnaya Shomotun.

The 22-year-old playmaker spent a brief loan spell at the Stones last season where he impressed supporters with his driving runs and goals from midfield.

Our new signing scored on his debut during his loan spell last season against Great Wakering Rovers and also scored in an FA Trophy tie at Concord Rangers in November 2018.

Shomotun signed his first professional contract with Barnet in 2015 and was released by the Bees before the 2019-20 season.

The midfielder spent a portion of his youth career at Brentford and had loan spells away from Barnet at Staines Town and Margate before his loan period at The Vale last season.

Our new signing will be available for the Stones' trip to Hampton & Richmond Borough in the National League South tomorrow.
