JOSH GRANT JOINS THE STONES

Wealdstone FC is thrilled to announce the signing of experienced defender Josh Grant. The versatile 26-year-old brings a wealth of Football League experience to the Stones, significantly bolstering Matt Taylor's squad as the season progresses.

Josh began his career in the youth ranks at Chelsea, where he honed his craft before gaining valuable senior experience during loan spells in the Football League at Yeovil Town and Plymouth Argyle. His impressive performances in League Two earned him a permanent move to Bristol Rovers in 2020, where he further established himself as a dependable and composed defender.

During his time at Bristol Rovers, Josh made over 100 appearances, including 29 games in League One and 36 in all competitions last season. Known for his ability to read the game, versatility across defensive positions and calmness under pressure, Josh was an integral part of the Rovers squad. His contributions were particularly crucial during their promotion-winning campaign and subsequent consolidation in League One.
