Kretzschmar signs new deal

Wealdstone are delighted to announce that midfielder Max Kretzschmar has signed a new one-year deal at the club.

The 29-year-old made 30 appearances for the club over the 2022/23 season and scored 6 goals as the Stones recorded our highest league finish in 37 years, with 13th place in the National League.

Max has looked a natural fit in Stuart Maynard’s system and was a key component in some of the Stones most important victories across the season. Having joined the Stones in July 2022, the midfield maestro will look to kick-on next season with a full campaign under Maynard now under his belt.

The club are delighted with the news regarding Max’s new contract and we can’t wait to watch him strut his stuff again at the Vale!

The Stones begin our pre-season schedule with a trip to local team Rayners Lane on Saturday 8th July.
