Wealdstone Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Zimbabwe international midfielder Kundai Benyu.

The 22-year-old's signing is subject to international clearance after making three appearances for the Stones during pre-season.

Benyu has earned two caps for the Zimbabwe national team and was last on contract at Scottish champions Celtic.

The midfielder began in the Ipswich Town academy and joined Aldershot Town on loan in the National League where he scored five goals in 22 league appearances.

Benyu on joining the Stones: "I'm looking forward to starting, I've known about Wealdstone for a while so hopefully I can kick on and get going."

This signing could not have been done without the help of the StoneShare scheme, email stoneshare@btinternet.com for more information.

The club can also confirm that we have signed Alex Dyer (subject to international clearance) and Charlie Wakefield on short-term deals.
