LOAN NEWS | Stones sign Wycombe's Young

Wycombe Wanderers midfielder Jack Young has joined Wealdstone on loan for the remainder of the season.

A graduate of Newcastle United's academy system, the midfielder joined the Chairboys initially on loan, before impressing to earn a permanent deal ahead of the 2022/23 season.

Whilst at Newcastle he appeared three times on the bench for the first team without making an appearance and he also spent time out on loan at Tranmere Rovers.

The central midfielder has played eight games for Wycombe during his stay so far and played against the Stones in their 1-0 win at Grosvenor Vale in pre-season.

He has spent the first half of this season out on loan in the Scottish Championship at Ayr United where he's made 19 appearances.

He will wear the number 15 shirt and goes straight into David Noble's squad to face Gateshead at The Vale on Saturday.
