LOAN SIGNING | McAvoy joins from Fulham
Wealdstone have signed 19-year old defender Connor McAvoy on a one-month loan deal from Championship club Fulham.
The defender has been a regular in the Cottagers U23 side for the past two seasons, where he also played with Stones teammates George Wickens and Jaydn Mundle-Smith.
He has been capped by Scotland at U19 level and can play in the centre or right side of defence and goes straight into Stuart Maynard's side to face Weymouth on the weekend. We thank Fulham once more for loaning us another of their bright young talents.
Meanwhile, departing the club is defender Charlie Barker who has returned to Charlton Athletic following the end of his loan spell.
Barker made three appearances for the Stones, which included two clean sheets in the win over King's Lynn Town and draw with Solihull Moors before injury kept him out his final two games. We thank Charlie for his efforts in a Stones shirt and Charlton for their support with this loan move.
