MATCHDAY INFO | Chesterfield (H)

Coming off the back of three consecutive victories over Altrincham, Maidstone United and Torquay United the Stones are back in action at The Vale on Tuesday for the twice rearranged National League fixture against big-spending Chesterfield.

Saturday's win catapulted Stuart Maynard's men into 8th place and a win would potentially push the Stones into a play-off position and also close the gap to Barnet in 6th place to just two points ahead of Derby Day on Saturday 25th March.

For Chesterfield, currently in 4th, a win is essential as they look to close the six point gap to 3rd place Woking and avoid an extra play-off eliminator fixture.

A fruitless February came for the Spireites, with eight games without a win including the 1-1 draw with Wealdstone at the Technique Stadium, effectively ending their chances of winning the title. However, a top three finish is still very much on the cards for the visitors following wins over Gateshead and Southend United this month already.

Here is a quick matchday guide as to what to expect...
