MATCHDAY INFO | Solihull Moors (H)
After the Good Friday defeat at Meadow Lane against table-topping Notts County the Stones are back in action on Bank Holiday Monday looking to get back to winning ways as Solihull Moors visit The Vale.
The defeat against Notts County dropped Stuart Maynard’s men down to 12th, level on points with visitors Solihull, but still only 3 points behind ninth placed Southend United.
Here is a quick matchday guide as to what to expect…
Turnstiles
Turnstiles will open just before 2pm and we kindly ask all supporters – home and away – to arrive early to ensure you are in the ground in plenty of time for the 3pm kick off.
Segregation
For this match we will operating our Soft Segregated policy with Solihull supporters allocated the Hawthorn Terrance for standing and blocks one & two of the MODU stand for Seating. Solihull supporters must use the away turnstiles which are clearlysignposted at the entrance to Grosvenor Vale.
Wealdstone supporters should enter via the home turnstiles but will have access to all areas of the ground except the Hawthorne Terrace, including the seats in blocks three and four of the MODU Stand as well as standing in the SHOTS Stand.
Clubhouse
The Vale Social Club within the Grosvenor Vale Stadium Complex will be open to both sets of supporters, all of whom are invited to sample some of the fine beverages on sale. The bar will be open from 12pm. Post-match the Vale will remain open to Wealdstone supporters only with the Man of the Match award to be presented.
Easter Raffle
There will no 50-50 draw on Monday instead tickets will be sold for the Easter Raffle. Tickets will continue to be sold right up to 5.45pm and there are lots of great prizes on offer including a 5KG hand made Wealdstone branded Easter Egg, a chocolate hamper, a Ninja air fryer, a Bosch lawn mower, a wireless headphone and much more. The Easter Raffle prize draw will be made post-match in The Vale. Tickets are also available online but must be purchased by Sunday.
Food & Refreshments
A full food menu provided by our award-winning match day caterers DDs is available to all supporters and a wide range of options are offered.
A Family feel at the Vale…
There will be a family feel at the Stadium as we will be welcoming many of the children who participated in the HAF Easter Camp which was run so successfully in partnership with Hillingdon Council at Grosvenor Vale last week.
For many of these children this will be their first taste of live competitive football, so we ask all supporters to make them as welcome as possible, so they really enjoy the experience.
Our successful “Tickets for Schools” Initiative and our partnership with Hillingdon Council to provide free tickets to displaced Ukrainian families living in the borough continues also continues.
Easter Egg giveaway
Look out for representatives from the Supporters Club who will be handing out Cadburys Crème Eggs to the first 150 children who arrive at the Vale.
Tickets
Tickets will be available to purchase at the turnstiles and online for both Wealdstone and Solihull fans and both cash and credit cards are accepted.
We encourage all fans to purchase online in advance to minimise queuing time at the turnstile.
Programme
The award-winning matchday programme will be available to purchase at the entrance to the Grosvenor Vale site and at various points outside the stadium and the club shop, which will also be open.
Car Parking
Parking is street only or at various public car parks nearby, we encourage all fans to travel to the game by public transport. We politely ask supporters who are parking in the streets nearby to not block driveways and to ensure that enough room is left in the road for emergency vehicles to pass through.
Parking Wardens are active in the area and tickets will be issued for any vehicle with wheels parked on the pavement.
Access to Grosvenor Vale is limited to those vehicles who have been given prior authorisation by the clubs General Manager.
Any vehicle attempting to gain access to the stadium who has not had prior authorisation will be turned away.
The entrance to Grosvenor Vale must not be used as a drop off or pick area and anyone attempting to do so will be refused entry.
Access to Grosvenor Vale for all vehicles will cease at 2:30PM with the entire area becoming pedestrianised to allow fans on foot to arrive safely to the stadium.
