Mongoy sold to South Shields
Striker Jordy Mongoy has made a permanent switch to South Shields for an undisclosed fee, following a successful loan period at the Northern Premier Division side.
Mongoy joined the Stones in the summer after impressing on trial but only made two appearances for the club, spending the majority of his time out on loan.
The 23-year old helped Farnborough to the FA Cup 1st Round in a spell there earlier this season and joined South Shields last month, where he's impressed at the Mariners who are currently managed by former Premier League golden boot winner Kevin Phillips.
He's made four appearances during his loan spell, scoring three times. We thank Jordy for his efforts in a Stones shirt and wish him all the best at his new club.
