Mundle-Smith selected in England 'C' squad
Supporters' and Players' Player of the Year Jaydn Mundle-Smith has been selected in Paul Fairclough's England 'C' squad to face Nepal on Monday 6th May.
He had been included in the contingency squad previously when the 'C' team played Wales 'C' back in March and has now made the step up to the squad of 16 for this game at Aldershot Town's EBB Stadium on the May Day Bank Holiday at 3pm.
Since returning on loan from Lewes at the back end of last season, he has played in all but two of Wealdstone's games since, retaining his spot whilst working under three different managers, playing both left-back and the left-side of a back three, impressing his team-mates and supporters alike with his string of consistent performances.
An incredibly well-deserved achievement for the 24-year old defender and we look forward to seeing him wear the Three Lions with pride next week.
Three other Wealdstone players have also been included in the contingency squad for Monday's game with Mundle-Smith's defensive partners Jack Cook and Charlie Barker selected, as well as Stones joint-top scorer Sean Adarkwa.
If you want to see Munds in action, tickets are available online to the game via Aldershot's website HERE.
