New Ground Regulations for 23/24

With a bumper crowd expected on Saturday for our first National League home match against York City, the Club wishes to update supporters on stadium safety ahead of the new campaign. As a family-friendly club, we are committed to making Grosvenor Vale a safe environment for new and existing supporters.

Firstly, there will be a zero tolerance policy on smoking and vaping within the Grosvenor Vale stadium and it will not be permitted in any circumstances.

In line with regulations set out by the Sports Ground Safety Authority (SGSA), supporters will not be allowed back into the grounds of Grosvenor Vale after they have left the premises during the game. For clarification this does not prevent home supporters leaving the main stadium complex to enter The Vale Social Club or purchase food from DD’s Diner but anybody leaving the front gates of Grosvenor Vale site will not be allowed to re-enter prior to the end of the game. To support this the main entrance to Grosvenor Vale will be always stewarded.

We are also updating our main stadium rules and regulations bringing them into in line with rules already seen in most stadiums in England. This means it will no longer be possible to take a drinks can through the turnstiles, anybody with a can must dispense the contents into a clear plastic cup which are provided at the turnstiles. Plastic bottles will still be allowed into the stadium, but the plastic tops must be removed.

The field car park at Grosvenor Vale is expected to be open until the end of October at which point the winter weather will likely make the field too wet to use. Whilst open the car park is a fantastic asset allowing ample parking for both home and away supporters however, the growth in support for the club means that it is important that in the run up to kick off the main entrance to Grosvenor Vale is vehicle-free therefore the car park will close 20 minutes prior to kick off with the entire site pedestrianised. We encourage fans to arrive early and use the fantastic facilities that are on offer at the ground.
