Wealdstone have completed the signing of former Watford and West Ham United defender Mason Barrett following a successful trial period at the club.

He has two senior appearances to his name featuring for Watford in an FA Cup and FA Cup Replay match against Tranmere Rovers.

Stones boss Stuart Maynard said: "We’re delighted to have Mason on board and feel he’s a great addition to our group.

"He’s a player we’ve watched a lot of as he’s played with Dom [Hutchinson], [George] Langston and Sonny [Lo-Everton] whilst at Watford. He’s had a great upbringing and fits our model.

"He’s athletic, can handle the ball and reads the game very well. He played against Billericay for us and he impressed everyone.

"He’s another young player that we’re excited to work with and improve, so he’s a welcome addition to our squad."
