PLAYER NEWS | Danny departs & Dan out on loan

Updated: Oct 21, 2021

Wealdstone striker Danny Parish has today left the Stones and subject to FA and National League approval is set to join a club in the National League South, with defender Dan Wishart also heading out on loan.

Parish signed at the beginning of our National League journey last season, joining from Maldon & Tiptree after a prolific spell.

Forward Parish joined the Stones after being part of the Jammers heroic FA Cup run in 2019/20 and scored a total of seven times in 29 appearances at the Stones, including a hat-trick in his full Stones debut away to King's Lynn Town last season.

His final appearance came against Solihull Moors last season, with an injury hit pre-season stunting his campaign so far, including an injury picked up whilst on loan at Billericay Town.

We thank Danny for his efforts in a Stones shirt and wish him all the best with his future.

Wishart heads out on loan to gain minutes and build up his fitness and we look forward to his return to The Vale in a Stones shirt very soon.

The left-sided player joins Hemel Hempstead Town on a temporary basis and will go straight into their side this weekend.
