PLAYER NEWS | Lewis sold to Boreham Wood
Wealdstone left-winger Dennon Lewis has joined National League rivals Boreham Wood for an undisclosed fee.
The winger joined the Stones in the summer of 2019 and made 95 appearances scoring 19 times, with his goals and all-round creativity helping the Stones to the National League South title in the 2019/20 season.
His form got him into the 2019/20 National League South Team of the Season that year and also won him Fans Player of the Season and Junior Stones Player of the Season, he also teams back up with last year's Player of the Season Jacob Mendy at the Wood.
This season has seen Lewis adopt a wing-back position for the Stones and has played 12 times, scoring once in the draw away to Dagenham & Redbridge.
We thank Dennon for his services to the club, particularly in the memories he has helped create in both our National League South title winning season and in our return to the top-level of non-league football in the National League.
Dennon leaves Grosvenor Vale with all our best wishes for the future.
