THE CONTEXT

Wealdstone continue their pre-season preparations with a short trip up the M40 to Beaconsfield Town. Stuart Maynard's unbeaten pre-season record as manager remains intact for the Stones following a 4-0 win over Hendon and a 2-1 win over Slough Town, whilst the home side get their season underway with Monday night their first pre-season friendly of the year. It's also the first time the sides have met since the Rams renamed from Beaconsfield SYCOB to Town.
