THE CONTEXT

Wealdstone go into their second game of pre-season away to Slough Town, where they’ll be looking to get more valuable minutes in the tank in preparation for the National League campaign, that begins on 6th August at home to Bromley. The Stones come off the back of an impressive 4-0 victory away at Hendon, where Stuart Maynard was given the opportunity to rotate his squad. New signing Tarryn Allarakhia impressed during his second debut at the club, as he scored a well-taken, second-half brace and have added Max Kretzschmar and Lewis Kinsella to the side. Slough Town finished 13th in the National League South last season but will be looking give the Stones a real test when they go to visit on Saturday.
