Follow the coverage on our official Twitter feed from 2pm on Saturday 21st March, we will be match tweeting as well as broadcasting the full 90 minutes of the reverse fixture from 3pm in real time.
THE CONTEXT
Wealdstone will look to bounce back after their first defeat of the season at Dulwich Hamlet on Tuesday night. The Stones impressed on the opening day when they defeated play-off hopefuls Dartford by a three-goal margin at The Vale and will look to emulate that again at Cressing Road.
Braintree have not continued their good form at the back-end of last season and have not had a positive return to life in the sixth division. After relegation from the National League last season, they will look to bounce back with a win after two defeats in their first two games against Bath City and Billericay Town.
TEAM NEWS
Sanchez Watt was substituted due to injury just before the hour-mark at Champion Hill on Tuesday night and Dennon Lewis made an impact from the bench when he almost forced an equaliser in the second half. Lewis also impressed as a substitute at Dartford and could begin from the start at Cressing Road.

WHO TO WATCH FOR
Tom Richardson: 25-year-old forward Richardson joined Braintree this summer and was one of Glen Driver’s first signings at Cressing Road. He impressed for Aveley in-front of goal last season and after netting a brace against Billericay Town on Tuesday, Richardson will hope to continue that scoring form against the Stones.
LAST TIME OUT
Matty Whichelow and Danny Green clawed the Stones back from two goals behind at Cressing Road back in March 2018. Stones goalkeeper Jonathan North was on-hand to make multiple saves before Luke Allen and Billy Crook gave the hosts a two-goal cushion at the break.
Whichelow netted a screamer just before the hour-mark and Green’s penalty minutes later completed the comeback as the Stones looked forward to their FA Trophy semi-final tie against Brackley Town after salvaging a point on the road.
