SAM HOWES RETURNS TO LEYTON ORIENT
We can confirm that goalkeeper Sam Howes has returned to his parent club Leyton Orient following the expiry of his loan period. Unfortunately, due to an injury sustained during last weekend’s match against Aldershot Town, Sam will be unavailable for a period of time, bringing his latest spell with the Stones to an early conclusion.
During his latest spell at the club, Sam made 10 appearances, including a standout performance in the famous 1-0 victory over Grimsby Town in the FA Cup First Round earlier this month.
This loan marked Sam’s fourth spell with Wealdstone, dating back to his debut during the 2015/16 season. Across these stints, he has become a familiar and well-respected figure at the club, always giving his all and showcasing his professionalism on and off the pitch.
Wealdstone FC would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Sam for his efforts during this latest loan spell and we also extend our thanks to Leyton Orient for their continued support and cooperation. Everyone at the club wishes Sam a speedy recovery from his injury and the very best of luck in his future career with Orient.
You’ll always be warmly welcomed back at Grosvenor Vale.
