Stones aim to complete first double of the season at Bromley

THE DETAILS

Bromley FC vs Wealdstone FC

Vanarama National League

Hayes Lane

15:00 kick off, Saturday 10th December

TICKETS

Tickets are £20 for adults, £15 for over 65s, £7 for under-16s and under-11s go free, but at midnight tonight, prices rise by £2 for each category apart from under-11s. Tickets are available here.

THE CONTEXT

Wealdstone travel to Bromley in the first reverse fixture of the 2022/23 season. The Ravens have been going well since the sides last met in the reverse fixture, currently sitting level with the Stones, but in 11th because of their better goal difference.

Maynard’s men will hope to bounce back from a defeat against Barnet last week that ended a run of 10 points from 4 games. David Sesay (Weymouth), Dante Baptiste (Potters Bar) and Malachi Napa (Dartford) will be unavailable after all moving on initial one month loans, whilst Dom Hutchinson is out after coming off injured at Edgware and Kingsbury in the Middlesex Cup.

Andy Woodman’s side haven’t played since 19th November, after their game last weekend against Yeovil was abandoned due to the sad passing of fan Keith Hore. As a result, there will be a minute’s silence before Saturday’s game, with both sides wearing black armbands.

ONE TO WATCH

Adam Marriott has 8 goals in 13 games since joining from Barnet in the summer, and will be tough to keep quiet, whilst his strike partner Michael Cheek is a constant threat.

HOW DID WE FARE IN THE REVERSE FIXTURE?

Stones fans won’t need reminding of the amazing comeback on the 6th August, with goals from Olufela Olomola, Rhys Browne and Jack Cook helping cancel out Bromley goals from Omar Sowumni and Michael Cheek in a 3-2 success after being 2-1 down at half time.
