Stones form Education Partnership with The Harefield Academy

Wealdstone Football Club are thrilled to announce that our academy system has formed a new education partnership with The Harefield Academy.

The Harefield Academy will offer our players a BTEC Course to work alongside their academy football. This allows all players to come out of the academy with qualifications, allowing them the opportunity for further education.

Students will also be trained by first team and academy staff, which gives the academy players top level sessions to help develop and understand the requirements to become a top tier footballer and to follow a pathway into the Wealdstone first team, such as Academy graduates Elijah Hearn and Tecane Shrowder did last season.

Coaches will provide one on one feedback to help continue the students development, further building on chances for possible first team opportunities.

The club can also offer employability skills with chances to work in and around the club on match days.

If you are 16-17 years old and this interests you. Please do not hesitate to apply to our taster day with The Harefield Academy on 13th July. Click here for more information.
