STONES SIGN HULL CITY STRIKER ON LOAN
We are delighted to announce the signing of Henry Sandat on a season long loan from Hull City.
The 19-year-old spent his youth career in the ranks of National League side Southend United before breaking into the first team in late 2022 at just 17-years-old. The striker made his first-team debut in November 2022, coming on in a 2-0 defeat against Aldershot Town.
Sandat finished the 2022/23 campaign with 12 appearances for the Shrimpers, scoring one goal in just his third appearance for the club. The only goal just five minutes into a 1-0 win against Gateshead.
In July 2023, Sandat made the move to Championship side Hull City on a two-year permanent deal, with an option for a third year. Only returning back to hometown club Southend United on loan in December 2023. The young forward featured 15 times in the Shrimpers push for the playoffs.
Sandat found the back of the net twice during his second spell in Essex, his first goal coming in a 3-0 win at home against Halifax Town and his second goal coming in the form of a 90th minute equaliser against the Stones at Roots Hall in March 2024.
The youngster then returned back his parent club Hull City this summer before making the loan move to Grosvenor Vale.
Subject to NL approval Henry goes into the matchday squad to face Dagenham & Redbridge next weekend. We are delighted to have signed Henry and we can't wait to see him get started!
