Updated: Aug 28, 2023

Wealdstone make a return to the Grosvenor Vale Stadium in Ruislip on Bank Holiday Monday for Vanarama National League action for the visit of Dagenham & Redbridge.

Following a strong start to the season, the Stones will be looking to bounce back from Saturdays defeat at Aldershot and push themselves back into the play off positions.

Dagenham started the season with high expectations but have had a disappointing start earning a point away at Altringham on the opening day but losing the next three against Southend United, Gateshead and Maidenhead United, however after Saturdays victory over high-flying Barnet, Dagenham will be looking to push on against the Stones.

Here is a quick matchday guide as to what to expect….

Turnstiles will open at 1.45pm and we kindly ask all supporters – home and away – to arrive early to ensure you are in the ground in plenty of time for the 3.00pm kick off.

Any Wealdstone supporters intending to pick up their season ticket pre-match should do so from the ticket box.

The match will be segregated with Dagenham supporters allocated the MODU Stand for seating and the Hawthorne Terrace and Shots Stand for standing. Dagenham fans must enter the stadium through the away turnstiles which are clearly signposted at the entrance to Grosvenor Vale.

Dagenham supporters need to purchase tickets in advance either via the Wealdstone website or at the ticket box at the entrance to Grosvenor Vale which will be open from 1.30pm.

The Vale Club within the Grosvenor Vale stadium complex will be open to both Wealdstone and Dagenham supporters pre match all of whom are invited to sample some of the fine beverages on sale all at competitive prices. There are no restrictions on entry to The Vale but children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. The bar will be open from 12pm midday.

Post match, The Vale will remain open with the Man of the Match award to be presented in the Main Hall at around 5.15pm.

A full food menu provided by our award-winning match day caterers DDs is available to all supporters and a wide range of options are offered.

Tickets will be available to purchase at the turnstiles for Wealdstone fans and both cash and credit cards are accepted. However, supporters are reminded that tickets can be purchased in advance online for a discount.

We encourage all fans to purchase online in advance to minimise queuing time at the turnstile.

The award-winning matchday programme will be available to purchase at the entrance to the Grosvenor Vale site and at various points outside the stadium and the club shop will be open and fully stocked with the new home and third kit.

Car Parking & Public Transport

Ample parking is available at Grosvenor Vale for a fee of £5 and the car park will be open from 12. Access to the Grosvenor Vale Car Park for all vehicles will cease at 2.40pm with the entire area becoming pedestrianised to allow fans on foot to arrive safely to the stadium.

We encourage all fans to travel to the game by public transport. Grosvenor Vale has great access to local railway and underground stations: Ruislip and Ruislip Manor are both on the Metropolitan Line and Piccadilly Line; whilst West Ruislip and Ruislip Gardens are on the Central Line. West Ruislip is also on the Chiltern Main line out of London Marylebone.

Ruislip station & Ruislip Manor are just over 5 minute walk away from Grosvenor Vale, while Ruislip Gardens is around a 10 minute walk.

And last but not least We sincerely hope that both sets of fans enjoy the game!
