Wealdstone return to Vanarama National League action on Saturday hosting Oldham Athletic.


Following the fighting 1-0 victory over Woking on Tuesday nightthe Stones will be looking for back to back wins to push themselves back into play-off contention.


After a poor start to the season Oldham parted ways with manager David Unsworth and since the Latics have won three in a row with victories over Kidderminster Harriers, Oxford City and York City.


Here is a quick matchday guide as to what to expect…


Turnstiles will open at 1.45pm and we kindly ask all supporters – home and away – to arrive early to ensure you are in the ground in plenty of time for the 3.00pm kick off.


The match will be segregated with Oldham supporters allocated the MODU Stand for seating and the Hawthorne Terrace & Shots Stand for standing.


Oldham fans must enter the stadium through the away turnstiles which are clearly signposted at the entrance to Grosvenor Vale. We encourage all fans to purchase tickets in advance but any Oldham supporters who wish to purchase a ticket at the ground should purchase one at the ticket box at the entrance to Grosvenor Vale where cash and cards are accepted.


The Vale Social Club within The Grosvenor Vale Stadium Complex will be open pre match from 12pm. Post-match the Vale will remain open for Wealdstone supporters with the Man of the Match award being presented and Tottenham Hotspur v Liverpool being shown on the big screens.


A full food menu provided by our award-winning match day caterers DDs is available to all supporters and a wide range of options are offered.


Tickets will be available to purchase at the turnstiles for Wealdstone fans and both cash and credit cards are accepted. However, supporters are reminded that tickets can be purchased in advance for a discount online.


We encourage all fans to purchase online in advance to minimise queuing time at the stadium.


The award winning matchday programme will be available to purchase at the entrance to the Grosvenor Vale site and at various points outside the stadium, both the KELME club shop and the new Supporters Club Shop will be fully stocked and open pre match and at half time.

 

Car Parking & Public Transport

Ample parking is available at Grosvenor Vale for a fee of £5 and the car park will be open from 5. Access to the Grosvenor Vale Car Park for all vehicles will cease at 2.35 with the entire area becoming pedestrianised to allow fans on foot to arrive safely to the stadium.


Fans planning to drive are reminded that Grosvenor Vale sits within the newly expanded ULEZ zone.


Grosvenor Vale has great access to local railway and underground stations: Ruislip and Ruislip Manor are both on the Metropolitan Line and Piccadilly Line; whilst West Ruislip and Ruislip Gardens are on the Central Line. West Ruislip is also on the Chiltern Main line out of London Marylebone. Ruislip station & Ruislip Manor are just over 5 minute walk away from Grosvenor Vale, while Ruislip Gardens is around a 10 minute walk.


ASLEF train drivers are set to strike on Saturday and a number ofrail services are expected to be affected so supporters should keep an eye on how services will be affected to avoid the disruption.


Saturday is also The FA's Play Safe Weekend, focusing on the vital role that safeguarding plays across the wider football sphere in this country.


Please also note that before the game there will be a minutes applause in memory of Wealdstone supporter Alan Couch.
