SUPPORTER INFO | Southend United (H)
Alex Dyer takes his first game in interim charge as Wealdstone return to Vanarama National League action on Tuesday evening hosting Southend United for the first home fixture of 2024 and first since the departure of Stuart Maynard to Notts County.
Things you need to know:
Turnstiles will open at 6.45pm and we kindly ask all supporters – home and away – to arrive early to ensure you are in the ground in plenty of time for the 7.45pm kick off.
The match will be segregated with Southend supporters allocated the MODU Stand for seating and the Hawthorne Terrace & Shots Stand for standing. Southend fans must enter the stadium through the away turnstiles which are clearly signposted at the entrance to Grosvenor Vale.
We encourage all fans to purchase tickets in advance online, but any Southend supporters who wish to purchase a ticket at the ground should purchase one at the ticket box at the entrance to Grosvenor Vale where cash and cards are accepted, tickets for Southend supporters cannot be purchased at the away turnstile.
We're also running a special online-only ticket offer this Tuesday as we gear up for a week with three home fixtures. Supporters can purchase three games for the price of two which not only covers the Southend match but also Saturday's home game against FC Halifax Town and next week's midweek clash against Aldershot Town. You can purchase your January bundle offer HERE.
The Vale Social Club will be open to Wealdstone supporters only pre-match, who are invited to sample some of the fine beverages on sale all at competitive prices. The bar will be open from 5.30pm. Post-match the bar will remain open for Wealdstone supporters only.
A full food menu provided by our award-winning match day caterers DDs is available to all supporters and a wide range of options are offered.
Tickets will be available to purchase at the home turnstiles for Wealdstone fans only and both cash and credit cards are accepted.
We encourage all fans to purchase online in advance where tickets can be purchased for a discount and to minimise queuing time at the stadium.
The award winning matchday programme will be available to purchase at the entrance to the Grosvenor Vale site and at various points outside the stadium, both the Kelme Club shop and the WFCSC Club Shop will be fully stocked and open pre-match and at half time.
Car Parking & Public Transport
The Field Car Park at Grosvenor Vale is now closed for the winter and therefore parking will be street only or at various public car parks nearby. We encourage all fans to travel to the game by public transport.
Grosvenor Vale has great access to local railway and underground stations: Ruislip and Ruislip Manor are both on the Metropolitan Line and Piccadilly Line; whilst West Ruislip
and Ruislip Gardens are on the Central Line. West Ruislip is also on the Chiltern Main line out of London Marylebone. Ruislip station & Ruislip Manor are just over 5 minute walk away from Grosvenor Vale, while Ruislip Gardens is around a 10 minute walk.
Access to the main car park at the Grosvenor Vale Stadium is limited to Wealdstone players and officials only. Any vehicle attempting to gain access to the main stadium car park who has not had prior authorisation will be turned away by the stewards.
Access to Grosvenor Vale for any vehicle will cease at 7.15pm with the entire area becoming pedestrianised to allow fans on foot to arrive safely to the stadium.
For fans who chose to drive and park in local residential side streets, please park legally, do not block driveways and keep off the curb. Always ensure there is space for emergency vehicles if they need to get access to any side streets.
And last but not least, we sincerely hope that both sets of fans enjoy the game!
