VACANCY: Kit Manager

An exciting opportunity to become the new Wealdstone Kit Manager has recently become available at the club.

We are looking for an organised, confident and discrete individual to manage the kit and ensure that the first team and management have all equipment efficiently prepared for a matchday and training.

This role is a great opportunity for the successful applicant to gain first-hand matchday and training experience within the first team and management.

This is an expenses-paid only role at the club and we invite all application to send an email titled 'Kit Manager Application' roryfitzgerald@wealdstonefc.com attached with your CV.

Regrettably, this vacancy does mean that we are saying goodbye to our popular and dedicated Kit Man Tony Waugh after 13 seasons of fantastic service.

Tony leaves the club after joining when we moved into Grosvenor Vale back in 2008, since then he has been a part of the club winning two promotions, five trophies and has worked under four different managers providing kit for countless players.

He has also had a huge say in the kit we have worn since moving into The Vale and has personally overseen the design of several of our stylish kits since playing in Ruislip.

We thank Tony for his incredible efforts here and wish him all the best. You will no doubt see him in and around the club as a supporter on matchdays.

Stones chairman Rory Fitzgerald said: "Tony has been a great servant to the club, joining when we moved into The Vale back in 2008. He has a fantastic personality and puts in a tremendous amount of work behind the scenes.

"The club would like to thank him for his hard work and dedication throughout the years, travelling the length and breadth of this country representing the club and he leaves with our best wishes."
