#WelcomeAdam
Wealdstone Football Club are delighted to announce that Adam Coombes has signed on loan from National League South rivals Welling United.
The 28-year-old striker will be available for selection against Slough Town on Boxing Day at Arbour Park; his loan will expire on January 31st.
The Wings forward has scored six goals in the division already this season at Park View Road, including a consolation penalty against the Stones back in September.
Coombes played under Manager Dean Brennan at Billericay Town last season where he scored 15 goals. His spell in Essex is sandwiched between three spells at Welling.
The centre forward began his career at Chelsea and spent a brief spell on loan at Yeovil Town in League One.
He was released by the Blues in 2013 and was back in League One, with Notts County and stayed until the end of the 2013-14 season.
Coombes was picked up by National League's Bromley in January 2013 and made 15 appearances in the half-season at Hayes Lane.
The striker also served two years at National League side Sutton United and a spell at National League South outfit Hampton & Richmond Borough (loan).
